Most buyers choose to drive by your home first before wanting to make an appointment. A yard that is neat, tidy and attractive will
raise the most interest. Make sure your shrubs and trees are
trimmed to a height that showcases the house. Keep the grass mowed, trimmed and edged. Keep pinestraw, leaves and other
debris picked-up. Walkways should be cleared. Removed any parked cars or trailers. When you can, use colorful potted plants or seasonal plantings to draw attention and create depth in the yard.

Remember, if the buyer does not like the outside of the home, that person will continue on to the next property. Get your home structurally ready for buyers by looking with a critical eye. Look for fading paint, mildew, and moisture damaged siding or trim. When you get your home ready for drive-by traffic, you’ll be giving buyers something extra nice to look at which will result in more showings and a quicker sale.
